I know two people who have committed suicide in the span of 5 months. One was df'ed and three months later committed suicide. The other was an active jw ministerial servant/pioneer.

This video that was shown at international convention in 2014 and again this week is WT manipulation at it's best. I purposely dialed in on phone line to listen last evening. ttdtt, wrote: "Remember when we said that other religions have followers because the appeal to the heart, and how we appeal to the intellect." I did not attend! I last entered a kh April 3 2015 when I took my elderly mother to the memorial dispite awakening to TTATT about two months previous to that date. This 2016 is first memorial I've not attended. What a relief!

Status update and hello.

i hope everyone is doing well.😊 i wanted to take a minute to let you know how things have been the last few months.. recently the brothers decided to finally consider my letter of resignation.
they met with me alone and i let them know why i have become inactive as a publisher and why i no longer wish to serve as an elder in the congregation.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your babies. It's good you are reaching out to others on this forum. Your depression must be taken seriously. Hopefully you'll find supportive people and if you choose, a competent and sympathetic doctor. I wish you and your wife continued success in your fade out of this dangerous cult and ultimately happiness.

Speaking of electronic devices, last week, during heavy snow squall an elder came to door . My elderly mom answered the door. Eldub comes in and first thing he says is "I can't stay but a second"??? He ask her how she's doing, need anything. She said YES, needs her magazines and daily text. She says she feels sad and lost because she's used to reading text and now doesn't have. She said she had also asked another brother for daily text. Elder proudly says he'll read today's text to her right now from his device. Well.....he could not get his modern day equivalent of Rutherford's "phonograph" player of the 1930-40 era (error) to work....hahaha .... So he left. -

Elder harassed my mom and asked for donation
by kaik inmy mom had surgery last month and she developed complication and had to be on antibiotics to treat infection.
so, she is recovering slowly, but things was tough on her and she was not attending kh or went to assembly two weeks ago.
nonetheless, elder showed up at her place and instead providing her with comfort he started to harass her that her faith is weak, she does not put trust in jah, etc.

Kaik, my elderly mother has also had surgeries resulting in serious infections. I hope your mom is getting better.

The neglect my elderly widowed mother has received from JW relatives and congregation for more than a decade precipitated my waking up. Elders only call asking for her time report. I'm currently fading.

I just found out that my youngest brother committed suicide
by SnakesInTheTower inmy middle brother called me a couple of hours ago.
our youngest brother, josh, who was 38, was found by his friends in his apartment.
he hung himself.
